For my birthday i'm either going to get an Xbox 360 or a ps3, at the moment i have no idea which one to get, but I am sort of leaning towards the xbox.
what I want to know is, what are the pros and cons of each console? what has better graphics? and also what has the better online game-play?
Pleas help!

now im gonna say PS3
purely cuz u can play wiv me (grow up!)
its good, fairly reliable and online is free!!!!
graaphics are
good (on good tellys mind you!!)
power is good
ive never played the 360 so i cant help you there

I would define a superpower as a nation that can point its finger at another nation that's acting out of line and say "sit the fuck down"

Well, i'd go with the Xbox 360 if you didn't already have friends on the PS3.
The 360 has a better software base at the moment.
You pay a yearly sub, so we get dedicated servers with NO lag, and you can get into EVERY game. Go through youtube Ps3 game vids, and you'll see people asking why they can't get into games (ranked games, especially). Having to pay that little amount also filters the scummy 12 year old loud yanks when you are playing as well.

But..the Ps3 does have blu ray. But do you want a shit hot DVD player, or a games system? Graphically, the Ps3 is slightly better. It's so slight that even experts can't tell the difference.
