Youtube channel advice

hey i've just created a new youtube account, and i'm wondering what I should use it for? I was thinking of doing some beginner guitar lessons to help people learn guitar, and to give advice to those guitarists just starting out. I believe this would be my best option as I was at this absolute beginner stage not to long ago.

What would people think about trying to organise something like this?

I think it'd be a great way to raise awareness. Somewhere central so we can try and hook passersby in. It'd show the kind of thing that we're trying to provide and we'd no doubt gain some support from the general public.

Have it in the summer, and a load of us can walk around letting people know what we're trying to achieve and how. I think it'd be a really good way of getting support from the parents as well ...

Guitar Hero:Good or Evil?

I know that plenty of people, especially guitarists, hate guitar hero. I know Dman doesnt really like guitar hero and he will probably claim it is the anti christ and anyone who has been within 100 foot of guitar hero needs to be cleansed. On the other hand many musicians believe guitar hero is a good thing as it builds a sense of rhythm and can possibly inspire people to pick up an instrument.

All right so the tab forums have been created and now to get the forum rolling, me, the mrsgig team, and other users will need to know what tabs you want added. To make a request just post the band/artist name, song name and album the song is from, you may have to wait a while for your request to be answered and added to the tabs list, as some songs may be harder to find/transpose than others.

I'm thinking this is a good idea people could post their own transcriptions of songs then post them here, and I can trawl across Ultimate-guitar and take tabs off of theirsite and post them here. People could find for the tab of their choice through the forum search, by writing the name of the song in for example. I think this would be a good idea as, I feel that, this is would be a popular addition to the site. There could be sub-forums for bass, guitar, keys etc.. tabs.

When buying a dictaphone should I buy one that takes tapes or not? I have found two, both at the same price, but one has a 64mb memory and no computer link. The other takes tapes but I feel the dictaphone that takes tapes is probably a dying technology. Help!
